Design Features and Specs of the Gladiator XComp ATR
The setup we tested was a 32x10 mounted on an Anthem Rogue in Satin Black at a 15x7. The XComp ATR is a beefy, aggressive all-terrain tire, and if you run trucks, you’ll notice it closely resembles the XComp MT, one of Gladiator’s most popular tires.
The lug pattern between the two is very similar, though the UTV version spaces the lugs out a bit more for greater surface area coverage. That’s a direct result of the feedback Gladiator gathered on MT, and it translates well to the UTV and powersports world.

Performance Features of the Gladiator XComp ATR
The biggest thing we noticed in real-world use was cornering grip. Coming in at speed and throwing the machine into tight hairpins, the XComp ATR sticks and holds to the trail well. It performs confidently in 2WD and handles all-terrain scenarios without skipping a beat.
Rock crawling is another area where this tire holds its own. Airing down and running over technical rock like you’d find in Moab, the tread grabs and holds without a problem. The on-road experience was a welcome surprise. For a tire with this aggressive of a lug pattern, the XComp ATR is noticeably smooth. There’s some vibration through the wheel from the tread, but overall it’s a much more comfortable road ride than you’d expect from a tire this aggressive.

Are There Any Negatives on the Gladiator XComp ATR?
The main thing to keep in mind is gravel throwing. Because these tires grip so aggressively, they’ll sling rocks behind the machine more than a less aggressive tire would. If you’re riding in a group, the riders behind you will feel that.
