What To Know Before Upgrading Your Polaris RZR Wheel & Tire Setup
Just a quick note before we begin - the RZR's stock wheels come with a 5+2 offset, but most of the aftermarket wheels you'll find for this model come with a 4+3 offset. What this means is that you could expect the overall stance to be about 2 inches wider than it would be from the factory, giving you better stability on obstacles. You do of course have a variety of 5+2 options as well if you’re looking to retain the factory width.
Also, most of the wheels you’ll be looking at are going to be 7 inches wide and the tires you’ll be looking for are about 10 inches wide, respectively, so consider that as you're looking at all the sizes that will best fit your machine.

Best Wheel & Tire Fitment For Polaris RZR XP1000 with Stock Suspension
We won't judge you if you want to keep your RZR’s suspension stock for now - in fact, doing so is a great option in case you're new to the powersports game and are trying to play around with different fitments to see which one best suits you.
The RZR comes with 14-inch wheels and 28-inch tires from the factory, but most aftermarket setups we've seen will come with 15-inch wheels and 30-inch tires. You can manage a 32-inch tire in a stock configuration, but it'll require some minor plastic trimming to your machine's fender flares on the bottom to avoid any rubbing on full suspension compression.

Best Wheel & Tire Fitment For Polaris RZR XP1000 with 2-3 Inch Lift
Should you want a 2-3 inch lift kit on your RZR, the recommended fitment stays relatively the same. You'll still want 15-inch wheels and 30 or 32-inch tires to fit comfortably, but if you want to go even bigger you can grab some 18 or 20-inch wheels and a 32 or 33-inch tire for a setup at this height. Keep in mind, again, that minor plastic trimming on the bottom of the fender flare may be required to ensure no clipping on full suspension compression.

Best Wheel & Tire Fitment For Polaris RZR XP1000 with 3-5 Inch Lift
A 5-inch lift is about as high as we've seen most RZR builds go, and if you go this route you’re probably still looking at a 15-inch wheel. However, at heights like this, you'll want at least a 32-inch tire right off the bat to help with traction and balance - in fact, if you want to go even bigger you can get away with a 35-inch tire at these configurations without needing to trim! Moving up to a 35-inch tire gives you a wide variety of larger wheel size options as well if you want something with less sidewall.

What Other Accessories Do I Need To Upgrade My Polaris RZR To Bigger Wheels & Tires?
These fitment options are great but there are still some accessories you'll probably want to consider if you end up deciding to upgrade your machine.
For starters, we'd recommend a new set of heavy-duty tie rods and radius rods to help your suspension hold up to the added abuse of your bigger setup. Also, with forward A-arms or control arms, you can get some additional tire clearance if that's been your hangup - we've got plenty of high-quality options from Kryptonite, HighLifter, and others in our store right now to help you out.
If you’re interested in lifting your machine, you’ve got a handful of options. On the cheaper side, you can opt for some spring spacers, but you will sacrifice the performance and ride quality of your suspension system. We would recommend a bracket lift instead for better off-road performance, especially if you'll be coming up to some rougher bumps or jumps. Portals are the most expensive option, and only necessary with the big lifts where you’re also looking at gear reduction.
